Since 1997 we have owned a Kinze 12/23 2600, a JD 1790 16/32, a Kinze 3600 16/32, & am currently running a CIH 1240 24x20" planter. For simplicity the 2600 Kinze was the best and did a good job of singulating seeds but you had to watch grade sizes as a too large or small of bean would cause problems & you'd have to change seed plates.Oct 13, 2011 · Subject: Re: JOhn Deere 7000 corn planter..... My guess is something wrong is Valve Block on the planter that is not letting the CCS circuit return its oil free without restriction back to the tractor. When this happens it creates pressure in the tractor and that is why I pop hoses out.

Nov 12, 2015 · Looking for the good and bad of a John Deere 1790 planter. Looking at a 16/31 so that I can get down to one planter. Would also want to put a tank on it for starter, am worried about the weight on the main planter with the the starter and the seed tanks. Farmington IL. The 1760 is a very simple, depndable planter. Easy to pull, easy to store, easy to maintain. The 1770 will be a very good planter as well. More power to pull, will require a significant amount more hyd capacity, more complicated to maintain BUT its twice as wide. You will be fine either way.Add some no-till planting capacity in 2021 with this John Deere 1780 12/23 vac planter. 23- 3bu poly boxes, 12-1.6bu poly boxes,12-poly insecticide boxes. I understand that this is the same bar as a John Deere 1780. I do like it BUT .....the cylinders in the center of the bar decided to quit lifting during planting last spring.
